General Mills, Inc. (NYSE: GIS) raised its quarterly dividend from 48 cents per share to 49 cents, representing an increase of 2%. The consumer packaged goods giant will give out its higher dividends to shareholders of record as of July 10 on August 1. GIS shares trade ex-dividend on July 6.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM) pushed its quarterly dividend higher by 12%, increasing it from 50 cents per share to 56 cents.
