Barack Obama Slams Donald Trump, Urges Voters To Stop His ‘Abuses Of Power’

Barack Obama, the former President of the United States of America, has a re-entered the national political debate and released a scathing attack on Donald Trump, his successor as the current president of the country. He called on the Democrats to vote in the elections that is scheduled this coming October to stop his “abuses of power.”

The former US President said that Americans were already living in dangerous times. He also said that Republicans were dividing the nation and threatening democracy.

In a dramatic break from the normal deference, former US presidents normally identify to incumbents, Obama ended a long period of public reticence because of a lacerating assessment of Trump. He sometimes call me by name or sometimes by inference. He also accused him of cozying up to Russia, thus it would emboldening white supremacists and polarizing the nation.

Last night, his speech that was held at the University of Illinois was a rare political outburst that came from Obama since he stepped down from the Oval Office in January of last year.

He stated: “In two months we have the chance, not the certainty, but the chance to restore some semblance of sanity to our politics.

He added: “There is actually only one check on bad policy and abuses of power, and that’s you and your vote.”

Obama accused the Republicans of failing to check the policies and worst instincts of Trump, before the midterm elections that are scheduled on the 6th of November.

The Democrats would need only 23 seats in the House of Representatives and two seats in the Senate in order to gain majorities.

Trump answered: “I’m sorry, I watched it but I fell asleep.” He was talking during a fundraiser that occurred in North Dakota. “I found that he’s very, very good for sleeping.”
