Bookies at Betway placed odds of 15/8 on it raining on the 19th of May, the day of the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, while they placed the odds of the wedding drawing in more viewers compared to that of William and Kate at 5/2.

Rather cheekily, they also placed odds of 11/10 on Meghan revealing a pregnancy before the end of 2018, and 66/1 on Harry’s best man forgetting the rings at the altar.

Speaking of which, Prince William is said to be the favourite to be Harry’s best man, at 1/4. However, Made in Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews, who is technically the brother-in-law of Harry after Pippa Middleton, the sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, married James, the brother of Matthews, is at 25/1.

Meanwhile, James Blunt and David Beckham are at 100/1.

“The date has been set for Harry and Meghan’s wedding, and we think the elements might get in the way on the big day. You can rarely rely on British weather,” stated Alan Alger of Betway.

“Prince William looks the obvious candidate to be his younger brother’s best man at the wedding, and he is a strong favourite at 1/4 to be handed the role.”
