Tesco Direct is about to close down and it is offering enormous discounts on its website until the 9th of July 2018, with up to 50 percent off on toys, electricals, technology, homeware, and furniture deals.
Amazon’s rival announced that it was closing after the firm said that it had “no route to profitability.”
The customers can choose from a wide range of amazing bargains, including three-piece garden furniture sets for only £80 (from £160), king-size chrome bed frames for only £109 (from £219), and corner sofas for only £374 (from £749).
The website sells items from a lot of independent brands such as Bosch, Silent Night, and Samsung. It allows loyalty Clubcard holders to collect their points from many products that are not available in stores.
Some of the unbelievable bargains that are being offered by Tesco Direct right now include the Acer Aspire 5 17.3-inch laptop for £599 (with an original price of £994), Terrain Unisex Mountain Bike for £97.50 (with an original price of £195), and the Silentnight Charlton 2000 Pocket Pillow Top Double Mattress for £375 (with an original price of £970).
In an announcement that was posted on the website, the company stated: “Tesco Direct is closing on 9 July 2018. It may now take 2-5 days to receive your order. If your order is delayed, our customer service team will contact you. Sorry for any inconvenience.”
The announcement also adds that Tesco Mobile products and the Uniform Embroidery Service will still be available at tesco.com. However, it said that large items such as bikes, sofas, and mattresses will no longer be for sale online.
The site of Tesco Direct says that “a wide range of clothing, homeware, electricals, toys, and gifts will continue to be available in-store.”
