Donald Trump, the President of the United States of America, and Kim Jong Un, the North Korean leader, are scheduled to meet each other next month. The meeting between the two leaders is considered to be a hugely notable move forward in the process of promoting peace between both of the countries.

The two world leaders are scheduled to meet each other in Singapore on the 12th of June. Singapore was favoured by officials of the United States because of its infrastructure and neutrality.

In a common move, the historic announcement of the meeting was posted by Presidnet Trump on Twitter.

The billionaire businessman and reality TV star-turned-leader informed his approximately 50 million followers: “We will both try to make it a very special moment for World Peace!”

On Twitter, Trump stated: “The highly anticipated meeting between Kim Jong Un and myself will take place in Singapore on June 12th. We will both try to make it a very special moment for World Peace!”

Last Wednesday, the official North Korean media quoted Kim as saying that the encounter “would be a historic meeting” and an “excellent first step towards promotion of the positive situation development in the Korean peninsula and building a good future.”

The North Korean Leader said that he had already ordered the release of the three Americans yesterday after receiving an “official suggestion” from US President Donald Trump.

Until recently, there was no love that was lost between the two sides, with President Trump calling Kim as a “little rocket man” while the North Korean Leader was questioning the sanity of US President Donald Trump.

Last April, the US President changed his opinion regarding the dictator, calling Kim “very honourable” and “very open.”

Pyongyang has since announced that it will dismantle the nuclear test sites of the country.
