What exactly is a ‘local milk person’? That is the question on everyone’s lips after a leaked transcript of a conversation between Donald Trump and the Australian Prime Minister circulated on social media.

A transcript of the phone call between the US president and Malcolm Turnbull shows their conversation about Barack Obama’s deal to resettle to the US more than 1,000 refugees who are currently held in Australia’s offshore detention centers.

Mr. Trump appeared unhappy with this deal as he discussed it with Mr. Turnbull, and said he would prefer to help “local milk people”.

He claimed that these refugees – who are mostly from Iran, Sudan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan – would go on to be the next Boston bombers, which his counterpart said was not likely because the Boston bombers came from Russia.

Transcripts from conversations between Mr. Trump and Enrique Pena Nieto were also leaked to The Washington Post.

In them, President Donald Trump urged the president of Mexico to stop saying publicly that his country would not pay for a proposed border wall between the two countries.

Addressing Mr. Pena Nieto in a phone call on Jan 27 Mr. Trump indicated he knew the funding for the wall would have to come from elsewhere.

But he told the Mexican president: “You cannot say that to the press.”
