Facebook has been experiencing yet another major problem as some users report that it stopped working amid a major international outage.
Reports say that the outage is affecting multiple continents. According to the website Down Detector, the said outage was experienced by users all over the world. The issues with the social media network were concentrated on western Europe and the east coast of the United States, however, that is likely due to the fact that people in other parts of the world are already in bed.
Facebook users who are living on the east coast of the United States, Latin America, and parts of Europe are reporting that the social network is not available. The issues were reported shortly after 2 in the afternoon on Tuesday.
The outage comes after a tough week for Facebook. The company has not only had significant problems of its own but has also seen Facebook Messenger and Instagram also hit by major outages.
The status page of Facebook is supposed to document the problems experienced with the site. However, it did not reveal any issues.
The said issues did not seem to affect all users, with many still able to access the site as they normally do.
However, many social media users have been left frustrated by the networking platform.
