Frank Stallone has issued an apology for a profane tweet that he posted. The tweet was said to be attacking a survivor of the school shooting that happened in Florida.

He is mostly known for being the brother of well-known actor, Sylvester Stallone. The musician and actor backed away from a tweet that he posted last Saturday. The said post on Twitter was aimed at attacking David Hogg, a teenager and a student from the attacked school. Hogg came out as a powerful voice for gun control following the attack that occurred at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High that is located in Parkland, Florida.

Stallone made use of some derogatory and expletives terms as a reference to Hogg, suggesting that one of the peers of the teenager must by “dying to sucker punch” him. Stallone later deleted the said tweet and one that is aimed at another survivor from the Parkland school shooting.

On Sunday, Stallone expressed his remorse for what he called to be “irresponsible words.” He said: “After what these kids went through, I’m deeply ashamed.”

Various advertisers dropped Laura Ingraham, a personality from Fox News, following her mockery of Hogg. She also later issued an apology because of her actions.
