On Wednesday, a collective scream was heard on the internet as people were faced with the similar shocking truth: Google Docs was down.
On Wednesday afternoon, Google Docs, part of a series of Google products, seemed to experience outages — with the Down Detector reporting extensive problems with Google Drive across the United States.
Google was reached out for comment, and the company referred reported to a statement that was published on its G Suite page saying:
“We’re aware of a problem with Google Docs affecting a significant subset of users,” reads the message. “The affected users are unable to access Google Docs. We will provide an update by 11/15/17, 2:30 PM detailing when we expect to resolve the problem. Please note that this resolution time is an estimate and may change.”
Apparently, Google is currently working on a solution in order to fix the problem. However, until it does, everyone that has grown to be dependent on Google Docs will just have to continue to freak out.
