Pimco Hires Former Vice Chairman Of Blackstone

PIMCO is a US investment management company. It is one of the world’s premier fixed income investment managers. It has hired John Studzinski, a top dealmaker, to serve as the adviser for the most important clients of the firm across the globe.

Studzinski has spent most of his career working in Europe and Asia. He brings to PIMCO 30 years of experience as a trusted strategic and financial advisor who has formed deep bonds among the leaders of the world in terms of finance, business, NGOs, and government.

Studzinski served as a vice-chairman for Blackstone. He will be based in New York as the managing director and vice chairman of the company. He will be reporting to Emmanuel Roman, the chief executive of Pimco.

Pimco was founded by Bill Gross , a legendary investor. Its headquarters is located in California. Prior to joining Pimco, Studzinski served as the head of European investment banking at Morgan Stanley and sat on the group management board of HSBC’. He also led the American International Group through the financial crisis in 2008.

His new position will involve supporting and advancing the global strategy of Pimco. He will also serve as a strategic adviser to corporations, pension funds, governments, sovereign wealth funds, single-family offices, foundations, and many others.
