Amid safety fears, a bargain supermarket chain has announced an urgent product recall.
Some Halloween fun masks from Poundworld has been recalled as they “pose a risk to the wearer.”
Poundworld said that its fun masks and gloves – in the form of a goofy orangutan and a gorilla– have a “potential safety issue,” although it did not specifically reveal the concern.
The products are a part of the Children’s Hair Raising Hands and Children’s Hair Raising Mask product range.
The retailer said that customers could return the said items to a store for a full refund.
“Customer safety and satisfaction are of paramount importance to us. Therefore, we have issued this product recall,” stated Poundworld.
It continued: “Please stop using the product immediately and return the item to any Poundworld or Poundworld Plus store – our stores will issue you with a refund or exchange.”
