The half-sister of Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s fiancee, has hit back at some suggestions that she “invented” claims of being run off the road during a car crash that was caused by paparazzi.

Samantha Grant is 53 years old. She tweets under the name Samantha Markle. She said that she suffered a fractured knee and a broken ankle when her boyfriend Mark Phillips, 60, crashed into a concrete barrier in Florida last Wednesday.

However, Florida Highway Patrol has not been able to discover any evidence of the said accident, which an officer discloses had not been reported officially.

In a series of tweets that were posted today, Grant, who is wheelchair-bound because of multiple sclerosis, argued that the collision sent her careering into the windscreen of the car, and told the doubters to “shut their ridiculous mouths.”

She said: “There’s no police report because we were run off the road and my boyfriend had to get me to the hospital because I was laying on the floorboards in a ball under the dashboard thrown out of my chair.

She added: “We were run off the road and slammed on the brakes, there was no collision with another car.”

Samantha Grant is a mother-of-three, apparently, she is not invited to the wedding. She has been criticising Meghan for not giving more support for Thomas Markle, their father who has undergone heart surgery that has hindered him from travelling to London.

The operation resulted in a furore over staged photos of Markle, taken on the advice of Grant to improve his image. She and Thomas Jr, her brother who wrote an infamous open letter to Harry asking him to call off the wedding, are the children of the first marriage of Thomas Sr to Roslyn. Grant is writing memoirs that are titled “The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister.”
