On Friday evening, many users of Twitters has complained about problems regarding their accounts. This is the third time in a span of a few days that the well-known micro-blogging site has experienced an outage.
Users of Twitter in France, the United Kingdom and across the United States said that they had experienced some difficulties in viewing their timeline or posting messages.
The problem has been confirmed by Twitter, and the company said that the issue has already been resolved.
On its Twitter Support account, the company said: “Earlier today, people were unable to send Tweets for about 30 minutes.
“We’ve resolved the internal issue, and we’re sorry for the disruption.”
The users still managed to make their feelings clear as with previous occurrences.
Just like other online companies, Twitter has experienced intense scrutiny during recent months amid the questions regarding bullying, privacy, and vulnerabilities to bot swarms that are generating fake news.
Last Friday, it emerged that Kaspersky, a cybersecurity giant from Russia, had been banned from posting ads on Twitter over various claims that its business practice contradicts the advertising policies of the site and concerns regarding the links of the company to the intelligence services of Russia.
It has also been hit by recent rounds of instability, harking back to its early days when its users frequently had to deal with messages that are saying that the site was over capacity.
On Friday, users said that they could not see any news posts on the social media site or that they could not send their Tweets at all.
