Japanese style brand name Uniqlo has set up a vending maker giving clothes at Oakland Airport in California.
9 other makers will turn up at airports and shopping malls at websites consisting of Los Angeles, Houston, and New York in the coming months.
They will equip males and females’ t-shirts and light-weight coats.
Uniqlo USA president Hiroshi Taki stated the innovation brought “benefit to visitors trying to find a warm coat without the bulk or a flexible undershirt”.
The company hopes the trick will help attract consumers to the Asian brand name, which has had a hard time in its efforts to permeate the United States market.
Airports and shopping centers were chosen as high-traffic places to supplement its 45 shops in the nation.
The seller, owned by Japan’s Fast Retailing, has near to 1,900 shops around the world offering economical sportswear.
The vending devices will equip tops retailing at about $15 (₤ 11.30) and light-weight coats for about $70 (₤ 53).
Fast Retailing is the world’s 3rd biggest retail clothing company as well as owns Helmut Lang and J Brand. There are no strategies to use the vending makers outside the United States.
