This morning, Vince Cable, a Liberal Democrat leader, launched a network for entrepreneurs saying that his party is currently the “natural home for businesses.”
The Liberal Democrats have established a Business & Entrepreneurs Network to connect senior business figures with the party.
Cable attacked the Tory party and Labour, saying that Jeremy Corbyn was “intent on bashing business and the banks,” while the Conservatives were working on a “damaging hard Brexit.”
Cable said that the Liberal Democrats were campaigning to retain the United Kingdom in the Single Market even after Brexit.
It arrives after Corbyn said that it was right that bankers feared the possibility of a Labour government, promising to fix what he describes as a “broken system.”
The Labour leader was answering to concerns that were raised by Morgan Stanley; the bank has stated that a Corbyn government would be much worse for investors than a hard Brexit.
